Position: FIELD SECRETARY
Job Summary:
Perform clerical office duties for field offices requiring limited knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Duties vary but may including answering phones, typing, office machine operation, maintaining files, recording purchase orders, and office housekeeping.
Essential Duties:
• Follow Daily Procedures and Protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings and Safety Handbooks. Properly follow OSHA safety procedures. Bring problems to the attention of the Superintendent or Safety Facilitator.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and take messages.
• Operate copiers, scanners, fax machines, and computers.
• Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and databases.
• Sort incoming mail and organize packet to be sent in to main office.
• Type miscellaneous documents as required.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and employees to explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
• Coordinate with main office on any issues that arise.
• Record purchase orders and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain a clean field office and other housekeeping duties.
• Other duties may arise as directed by the field superintendent or project manager.
• Full-time position, benefits, hourly pay.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of proper use of word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Possess excellent communication skills, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Ability to plan work on a daily basis.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, pass drug screen and background check.

• Construction field office.
• Inside conditions that may include exposure to building materials, mud and dust.
