Position: LABORER
 
Job Summary:
 
Perform tasks involving physical labor at heavy construction projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean up debris and remove waste material. May assist other trades in various activities.
 
Essential Duties:
 
• Follow Daily Procedures and Protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings and Safety Handbooks. Properly follow OSHA safety procedures.  Bring problems to the attention of the Superintendent or Safety Facilitator.
 
• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy construction projects.
 
• Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools, equipment and materials in order to eliminate potential hazards.
 
• Material handling and storage, including but not limited to; load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials.
 
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
 
• Full-time position, benefits, hourly pay.
 
Qualifications:
 
• Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy construction work.
 
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
 
• Ability to perform manual work requiring period of extensive physical exertion and potential exposure to adverse weather conditions.
 
• Ability to understand and follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
 
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
 
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
 
• Ability to travel and work overtime (May include nights and weekends).
 
• Must be at least 18 years of age and Pass drug screen, and background check.
 
• Ability to lift , push, pull or carry a minimum of 50 lbs. use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.

• Construction site with mobile construction equipment. 
• Outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to building materials and dust.
