Position: Scheduler


Job Summary:

Work with field and office personnel to build, and maintain industrial construction project schedules. Provide concise updates and reports for internal project review and owner updates.

Essential Duties:

• Develop detail schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) with logic-generated requiring cost and/or resource loading

• Update construction schedule, at requested intervals, through project final completion.

• Provide project team reports including baseline vs. actual schedule updates and earned vs. actual costs/resource tracking, and provide schedule projections.

• Provide schedule projections and look-aheads for internal project team.

• Communicate schedule updates to project team and client.

• Communicate needs and updates to vendors and subcontractors.

• Update clients on progress through written and verbally communication progress findings from schedule updates. Attend client meetings as needed.

• Perform training, if required, to support staff or subordinates.

 

• Provide supporting documents to finalizing time impact claims.

• Full-time position, benefits, salary pay.

Qualifications:

• Must have valid TWIC card.

• Must meet qualifications for DISA program.

• In-depth knowledge of scheduling software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.


• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.

• Ability to read drawings, specifications and other construction documents.

• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

• Ability to travel and work overtime (may include nights and weekends).

• Must be at least 18 years of age, pass drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements:

Work Conditions:
• Primary environment will be corporate or field office. Secondary environment will be construction jobsites during meetings, site visits, etc. Secondary environment will consist of outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, humidity and exposure to building materials and dust.
